PARI Visitor Policy
Potential PARI collaborators should be aware of the current PARI visitor policy that requires, among other things, criminal background checks on all
faculty and student research participants that spend time on the PARI campus.
PARSEC and UNCA have negotiated a procedure whereby UNCA will acquire and
maintain such background checks on all UNCA faculty and students. PARI receives
certification from UNCA in all cases where the background checks reveal no
issues.
It is also possible to have PARI conduct the background checks, and to
maintain the results in their records.
