Information For Collaborators
A primary goal of PARSEC is to facilitate collaboration between
UNC institutions and PARI.
The unique resources at PARI offer many opportunities to support both teaching
and research projects from a variety of disciplines. The following is a guide
for prospective collaborators.
- As soon as a potential for collaboration is determined, collaborators
should contact the PARSEC director. This will help
clarify the resources that are available, and how they might be used to
enable the planned activity.
- The PARSEC director will facilitate discussions between the
collaborators and PARI to determine cost-sharing agreements of the

funding, a letter of commitment regarding the cost-sharing must be in place
before the proposal is submitted.
- If the proposal is successful, then a sub-agreement must be drafted and
signed. When this has been completed, the collaboration can begin.
